1999: Acquisition of Parabus, the Finish roof hatch manufacturer

2005: Foundation of Spheros GmbH Webasto AG sold its „Business Unit Bus" to Granville Baird Capital Partners, Capcellence and management. Since this time the company has been legally and financially independent, operating under the new name Spheros GmbH with the new Spheros brand.

2006: JV with Sumi Motherson in India founded

2008: Neubrandenburg plant becomes a competence centre for heating development and technology, being the only air conditioner production plant in Central Europe.

2016: Spheros is part of Valeo

2017: Spheros changes entity name to "Valeo Thermal Commercial Vehicles"

2018: Acquisition of Transfrig Transport Refrigeration in South Africa

2024: Re-foundation of Spheros GmbH. The “Valeo Thrmal Commercial Vehicles” product group is sold to H.I.G. Capital. After a complete redesign of the Spheros brand, the company once again operates under the name Spheros GmbH and has been operating legally and financially independently ever since.
